Kenyan Educational Support (KES)

As a trustee for Kenyan Educational Support (KES) I had responsibility for marketing communications from 2013 until the charity wrapped up in 2023.

I developed the writing style, makings things clearer and more consistent. I smartened up the e-newsletter, updated online articles, set up a Facebook page and created a range of marketing literature. I supported communication with existing sponsors and recruitment for new sponsors and donors.

Thanks to the dedication of a small team of volunteer trustees, the charity provided scholarships to over 120 children who wouldn't have otherwise afforded it. We supported them through their education from age 6 to 18. With over half securing places at university.
