Kenyan Educational Support (KES)

Charity marketing and copywriting

As a trustee for Kenyan Educational Support (KES) I had responsibility for marketing communications since 2013.

I helped develop the writing style, makings things clearer and more consistent, smartened up the e-newsletter, updated online articles, set up a Facebook page and created a range of marketing literature. I also helped manage the communication for existing sponsors and recruitment for new sponsors and donors.

The charity is now winding down due to its success and the increasing complications and demands of managing so many scholarships with a small team of trustees.
